Radio Free Cruze

 I really wasn't going to do another show title like this, but this story just couldn't be ignored.  I admit that I've used some "titillating" show titles in the past, including "JESSICA SIMPSON LOVES BOOBS," and "WILL LINDSEY LOHAN DO A NUDE SCENE?" and in all honesty I was going to at least let a little time go by before I used another "gratuitous" title.  But in all honesty, this was more than I could resist.

 A scultpor in New York has dedicated a life-size statue of a nude, pregnant, on-all-fours-on-a-bearskin-rug BRITNEY SPEARS to the Pro-Life Movement.  No, I'm not kidding.  Check out the story for yourself HERE, and be sure to notice the pictures.  It's official.  This world we're living in is getting more and more bizarre every day.

 I also read some pretty cool email from listeners in this episode who are commenting on the whole GARY GLITTER question from the last show.  (See RFC #32).  Some great comments, and in the process I encourage one of our most loyal listeners, Tech-D, to start his own podcast.  Dude, if you do, I'll be your #1 promoter...go for it!   And I also mention that I have started working on another Dance Show, which looks like it will be RADIO FREE CRUZE Special Edition #2.  I hope to get it released within the next two weeks.

Welcome back!  It's a jam-packed show this week, and I have a couple of random observations, as well as some truly awesome music.  First the tunes...

Ok...a few things on my mind this week.  Gary Glitter, the former glam-rock star, has proven himself to be little more than human scum.  First he's convicted in the UK in 1999 of posession of child porn, and now he's convicted in Viet Nam of actual Child Molestation...for having sex with two ELEVEN YEAR-OLD GIRLS!   And yet, we still hear his one hit, Rock & Roll Part II, in stadiums and arenas all over the world at sporting events...in fact, the song is almost synoymous with NBA Basketball.  Is this wrong?  Every time his song is played, he makes money.  Should we refuse to play, and therefore support him?  Or is the music really not connected to his depravity in any way, and is therefore ok?  I'd love to know what you think on this, as I am totally conflicted.  Reply in the comments section here, or send your thoughts to me at cruze@radiofreecruze.com.  I'll share the comments on the next show...

On the subject of inappropriate things...I mention a little girls' outfit I saw for sale at the airport in Texas.  This picture isn't exactly it...but it was similar, maybe a little skimpier.  Kind of like what JEAN-BENET RAMSEY'S mom made her wear in those ridiculous pagaents.

Lindsey says, "Yes, she would!" ...but only under one condition.  I'll tell you what that condition is on this episode of the show.  Does it make me a shallow person to be even interested in this?  Oh well...

 I also admit on the show that I am addicted to watching this stupid clip!  It's a video of LIVE ACTORS doing the opening segment from THE SIMPSONS.  This is a really stupid idea, and shouldn't even be remotely entertaining, so why do I keep watching it over and over.  CLICK HERE to see it, and become addicted yourself...

 I've found the perfect excuse to have another Harpoon IPA...a Beer Belly could save my life!  Here's a link to the story, which is actually pretty interesting. 

 The only reading I've found MORE entertaining this week, is the amazing back-and-forth between "comedian" Joe Rogan and a 20-year-old college student, who started the exchange by emailing Joe to say, "You Suck."  Instead of letting it roll off his back, like I think most celebrities do, Joe starts an amazing exchange with this guy, eventually calling him a total loser, and explaining how he, Joe Rogan, is a multimillionaire and a Tai-Kwan-Do expert.  Or something like that.  Fascinating.  And almost as interesting is the paragraph where Joe comes back after the fact and defends his postings.  This is so "car-crash-interesting" that I couldn't stop reading it.  Tell me if you don't get the same weird voyeuristic charge out of this...
