Feature Artist Thursday: MODEST MOUSE on Radio Free Cruze!
It’s Thursday again, and we’ve got a really great Feature Artist Thursday underway today, mixing in plenty of music from MODEST MOUSE into our normal assortment of New Rock, Indie, and Alternative.
MODEST MOUSE is a perfect band for Feature Artist Thursday! They’ve got a handful of really strong hits, a string of full-length albums with great tracks on each, and a really nice assortment of EP’s and B-sides as well. We’ll be featuring plenty of those today on the RFC, as well as a nice sampling of tracks from their last album, WE WERE DEAD BEFORE THE SHIP EVEN SANK.
Former SMITHS guitarist JOHNNY MARR joined the band before the recording of WE WERE DEAD…, and his trademark guitar style really gels well with the band on this album, making it a standout in the MM catalog.
